Description
A classic, elegant rosewood dining table was designed by Severin Hansen for Haslev Mobler in the 1960s. This stunning example of Danish craftsmanship, certified with the original sticker underneath, has a unique form thanks to the elegant connection of the legs with the tabletop and the streamlined edge of the table. The richly grained tabletop has a beveled edge that joins seamlessly with each leg, and all leaves have aprons providing a beautiful continuous line when the table is fully extended. The table features two supplementary leaves to increase space for ten guests with a length of 216cm. An additional fifth leg at the bottom opens almost automatically when pulling the tops apart. It is made of thin metal parts and therefore does not spoil the aesthetics
The table is in great original vintage condition. Our team checked the table thoroughly. The sliding mechanism works smoothly. The lacquer has been cleaned and polished with professional compounds and is perfect shape. There is a dark stain on the side of the table visible on the pictures.
We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring furniture back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old.
Additional dimensions:
- Height to the apron: 66 cm
- Two additional leaves 49.5 cm wide.
- Dimensions when fully extended: H: 72/ W: 216/D: 117 cm
