Black leather Governor sofa with rosewood frame by Poul Cadovius, Denmark, 1960s
Description
A stubby and supremely comfortable three-seater sofa “Governor” by Poul Cadovius for France & Son comes from the 1960s. Brazilian rosewood frame woven on sides and back stands on dovetailed sled legs made of solid rosewood. It features double seam-stitched thick leather reversible cushions that provide a great pleasure of use. Clean lines of the warm frame and the high-quality black leather quilted cushions provide a sophisticated and elegant look to the piece.
