Egon Ostergaard teak dresser with 4 drawers, Denmark, 1960s.
Egon Ostergaard teak dresser with 4 drawers, Denmark, 1960s.
Description
This Danish mid-century vintage teak dresser with four spacious drawers was designed by Egon Ostergaard in the 1960s. Stunning match grain teak throughout and original shaped solid teak handles positioned on both sides of each drawer give a supreme look to this piece of furniture that will complement any mid-century inspired or contemporary home. The chest of drawers stands on solid oak tapering legs. It is a tailored size, typical for a hall chest in Scandinavia, but also great as a small storage piece in a living room or small bedroom. It is a vintage piece, so it has some slight traces of use, but overall is in excellent condition. Renewed with Danish oil. The drawers are clean and nicely dovetailed. The manufacturer’s label is partly preserved at the back.
Drawer height: 11cm
Ground clearance: 15cm
