Antonio Pavia large floral lamp in brass faux bamboo, 70s, Italy

2 400,00

Amazing Italian floor lamp in Hollywood Regency style by Antonio Pavia. Brass stems with leaves. Clean, double fabric heart shaped shades conceal the light source (up to 60W, E27 bulbs). Solid and heavy base on brass feet provide stability. The arms can rotate as well as the shades, thus the lamp can take many shapes upon owners will. New wire installed. Great condition with light patina on brass. Antonio Pavia designed many table and floor lamps in this style. All with a white silk shade. Often with 3 or more lampshades and with crane birds or herons and all made in brass. Wall lamps in the form of butterflies were also made, also with silk shades. Antonio Pavia was not only a lamp designer. He also designed furniture, chairs and utensils.
