Description

A famous oak razor blade chair designed by Henning Kjaernulf in the 1960s and manufactured in Denmark by Nyrup. The slightly curved backrest is razorblade-shaped and is an uncommon design feature. The style and shape of the carved legs and frame recall an almost Baroque design paired with Scandinavian modernism making an outstanding yet impressive combination.

The natural grain and color of oak wood are complimented by the new natural sheepskin upholstery of the seat. Additionally, sheep wool has superior anti-allergic properties and provides electrostatic balance, which is valid in contemporary interiors full of artificial materials.

With a commitment to combining tradition and modernity, Henning Kjærnulf’s design is an immediately recognizable and timeless classic. This vintage chair will be a great addition to any desk or vanity.

  1. Seat height: 45 cm
