The rosewood wall unit on panels was designed by Poul Cadovius and made by Cado in the 1960s. The simplicity is paired here with perfect carpentry and beautiful, profound rosewood grain.

Overall size is H: 231 / W: 241 / D: 46 cm.

Crafted from luxurious rosewood, known for its rich grain and deep, warm tones, the wall unit features three large panels that mount directly onto the wall. The rosewood veneer highlights the wood’s natural beauty, giving it a distinctive, high-end look. Attention to detail is evident in the sleek edges, precise joinery, and the elegant way of attaching the shelves and cabinet. This craftsmanship ensures both durability and a refined appearance. One of the standout features of Cadovius’s design is its modularity. The shelves and cabinet can be rearranged effortlessly, allowing users to customize the layout according to their needs. Mounted on panels rather than a floor-standing base, the design also saves floor space.

The wall unit consists of:

3 back panels: H: 231 / W: 80 cm,
a dresser: H: 51 / W: 80 / D: 46 cm, drawers heights are 7, 7, 11, 14 cm,
6 shelves 22 cm depth,
2 shelves 38 cm depth.

Despite the passage of time, this unit remains in excellent original condition. It shows light sun fading. The panels have been refinished with a thin layer of lacquer, enhancing the rosewood’s natural beauty. The rest of the wood has been cleaned with professional compounds. Original “made in Denmark” stickers are preserved on the back of the shelves, certifying the authentic origin of this iconic piece.
