Description

Extraordinary Mid-century black varnished dining set: Danish extendable table and eight Parisian chairs will enrich any dining area, providing Danish quality and elegance of Paris Hotel. The table is made of teak veneer with remarkably finished edges in solid teak wood and has solid teak legs, entirely varnished in black. The table has an option to unfold the top. Two additional leaves – 52 cm wide extend the table to 239 cm providing a comfortable space for 6-8 people. Beautiful grain on the top and high-quality craftsmanship enhance the elegance of Danish mid-century design, combined with an elegant set of eight dining chairs made by Thonet in the 50s., most likely from the Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris making an incredible composition of Danish and Parisian classics.

The chairs have a distinctively elegant and simple design. They are entirely renovated and reupholstered in natural Italian L’Interno wool boucle fabric by Franco Fabbri, which adds an even more stylish look. The wood has been cleaned and freshly varnished with black lacquer, and new foams have been added to enhance the comfort of the seating, although the seats are on original coil sprigs. Some differ in the method of mounting the structure and small dimensions.
