Description
This brass floor lamp from the 1950s is a fine example of Italian mid-century design. The swing arm can be moved to different positions, offering flexible lighting options. Made entirely of brass, the upper arm is creatively bent, adding to its unique design. The aluminum shade, painted in light-beige, complementing the warm tones of the brass. It is adorned with a charming frill-shaped edge which adds a touch of finesse to the design.
Additionally, the direction of the light can be adjusted by changing the shade’s position. The on/off switch is conveniently placed just above the shade for easy access. This lamp combines both form and function, making it a practical and stylish lighting choice.
Despite the passage of almost seven decades, the lamp is in beautiful original condition with minor signs of patina related to its age.
