Description
A true masterpiece and the essence of Scandinavian design—a teak sideboard by Norwegian designer Henry Walter Klein. This is a very rare model, that is between the traditional low sideboard and a highboard. Smaller both in the height and width.
Klein’s inspiration from organic curves and shapes is evident in this piece, meticulously crafted by the Danish manufacturer Bramin. The use of teak wood speaks for itself. It is known for its exceptional durability, resistance to damage, and warm, distinctive color and grain. The sideboard features elegantly rounded and flowing lines, guiding the eye across its exquisite details. The remarkable joinery at the corners is one of the key attention grabbers. Solid teak handles are seamlessly integrated into the sliding doors and drawers, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The back is finished with teak veneer, making the sideboard visually appealing from all angles.
In addition to its visual charm and beautiful craftsmanship, the sideboard is also highly functional and spacious, with adjustable internal shelves to suit storage needs.
Despite over 50 years of use, the sideboard remains in excellent original condition. A manufacturer’s label is fitted on the back, confirming the authenticity of the piece. The wood has been carefully cleaned and protected with Layers of Danish oil, preserving its stunning appearance.
