Danish teak footstol in long hair sheepskin by Bramin, 1960s

Description
Elegant and minimalist footstool produced around the 1960s by Danish furniture maker Bramin Møbler.
The best-known and most prolific of Bramin Møbler’s designers is, without a doubt, Henry Walter Klein, and several features of this footstool suggest his authorship. The similarities can primarily be found in the construction. Klein’s chairs, like this footstool, are characterized by a slightly curved frame, a flat-cut top edge of the legs, and a narrow rod that strengthens the structure.
The new natural long-hair sheepskin upholstery and generous seat make the piece extremely comfortable. Additionally, sheep wool has great anti-allergic properties and provides electrostatic balance, which is very important in contemporary interiors filled with artificial materials.
This is a perfect example of Danish design philosophy—simplicity, functionality, and quality at its best.
The beautiful solid teak wood has been cleaned and protected with professional compounds. The new upholstery complements its Scandinavian origin, bringing a touch of warmth to the interior. The authenticity of its origin is confirmed by the producer’s sticker.
