This vintage wall unit or a bookcase was manufactured in the 1950s-60s in Denmark. It relates closely to Poul Cadovius design from the same period. This entirely modular shelving system combines a minimalist design while offering storage space at the chest of four drawers and three shelves for books and trinkets. Made of teak veneer with solid teak details as rails with the dresser decorated by beautiful solid brass handles, it will warm any entry hall or bedroom.

The vintage bookcase consists of:

• 3 shelves 20 cm deep each
• 1 dresser with four drawers H: 50/W: 80/D: 46 cm; drawers height: 8 cm
• 2 wooden rails 200 cm long ( in two parts )
• brass hardware

The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that drawers work properly, and all parts fit together. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
