Description
The impressive, minimalistic, yet highly functional Danish 4 bay teak wall unit was designed in the 1960s. Reminds of Cadovius units from the same period. It features the same detail-oriented carpentry and beautiful teak veneer. Very often this particular system is attributed to Kurt Østervig.
The overall size is H: 200 / W: 323 / D: 45 cm.
Designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional, this wall unit is finished in warm-hued teak veneer, showcasing a beautiful wood grain pattern. The use of high-quality teak wood and teak veneer ensures the durability and longevity of the piece.
The set includes a dresser with four spacious drawers, a display cabinet with a characteristic vertical glass pattern, a cabinet with inner compartments perfect for LP records or magazines, a desk with a drawer, and fourteen shelves of various depths, including one expository shelf 33 cm depth.
This combination of open shelving and cabinets offers a versatile mix of display and storage options, making it ideal for living rooms or offices where both aesthetics and organization are crucial. It is an entirely modular shelving system, and the components can be arranged according to your needs. The presented setup is just an example.
The wall unit consists of:
- a dresser: H: 44 / W: 80 / D: 45 cm (drawers inner height 8 cm),
- a desk: H: 20 / W: 80 / D: 45 cm (drawer inner height 8 cm),
- a cabinet with compartments: H: 38 / W: 80 / D: 35 (each compartment size 15.5 cm),
- a display cabinet H: 34.5 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm,

- 9 shelves: 20 cm depth,
- an expository shelf: 33 cm depth,

- black-painted steel hardware.
The unit has been fully renovated. The wood has been sanded down and protected with layers of satin lacquer the same as it was finished with originally. Our team has checked that the components fit together and drawers and doors work smoothly and properly. Overall, this set is in fantastic vintage condition.
