This charming Scandinavian dressing table with a footstool, both produced in the 1960s, is a marvelous example of high-quality carpentry. It represents a perfect combination of mid-century elegance and functionalism. Crafted from beautiful and durable teak wood, the dressing table features slightly rounded edges and tapered legs, adding lightness to the construction. The brass feet harmonize nicely with the warm color of the wood and brass handles.

The essence of the piece is its mirror, composed of three parts: a central mirror flanked by two adjustable side mirrors, allowing for multiple angles and a comprehensive view. The central mirror is equipped with a mechanism enabling it to be tilted. Five drawers provide ample storage space, enhancing the vanity’s practicality. Legs of both pieces have been made out of beech. The seat has been reupholstered in an off-white boucle fabric.

The central mirror shows some patina and signs of age, but this is normal for furniture of such age. To restore the full functionality of the dressing table and its former charm, we recreated the side mirrors based on the original design. The wood has been refreshed and treated with professional products that strengthened its structure and highlighted its natural beauty. After renovation, both pieces warm up the interior and help create a cozy, intimate corner for daily self-care.
